KS004  Supplementary information for construction

The diagram above uses colour to illustrate the positioning of the various parts. Note that some parts have been omitted on the left hand end for clarity.
Grey:  The underfloor part - the basic foundation for the underframe. (The wheels are also in grey).
Mid-Green: The inner (wooden) solebars and attached brake safety hoops.
Dark- Green: Cross braces and Westinghouse mounting plate.
Yellow: Cast parts.
Dark Blue: Outer solebars, including axleguards and spring retainers.
Light Blue: Suspension slider assemblies including cast axleboxes and the brake shoes.
Pink: Body braces.
Orange: Brake operating parts and piping.
