Brunner Tunnel

BRUNNER

Brunner is based on the West Coast location of the same name.  The layout is a 5.5m x 2.4m loop that features the station plus a little scenery at each end.  The 'back straight' is a concealed fiddle yard.

The layout is a test bed for all sorts of ideas and has progressed slowly for the last few years.  Of  late, with encouragement and help from the local lads, progress has been made.

The section shown is almost finished.  The framework, track, rock casting, bridge and tunnel portal are by Lawrence Boul, but the artistry is pure Barry FitzGerald.
